Welcome to Wait! 

     The goal of Wait Primary School and Streetsboro City Schools is to Improve Student Learning and Growth Every day.
 

Party day at Wait Primary School will be on February 14th. Kindergarten will have their party from 9:45 am-10:45 am. Parents setting up for the party can come at 9:30 am. If you are attending the kindergarten party, we ask that you leave at 10:45 am so that we can have parking spaces for people coming for the afternoon parties.

 

1st grade parties will be from 1:30 pm -2:30 pm. Parents coming to set up for the party can come at 1:15 pm.

 

Make this a special time for your child. I f you are attending, not bringing brothers or sisters will send a nice message that this day is for them.
 
 
 
·         In addition to the rules and regulations set forth in the Student Handbook, Streetsboro students (parents) are responsible for reading and complying with the Streetsboro City School District Board of Education’s policies and administrative guidelines.  The policies and guidelines can be found on the District’s website at http://www.streetsboroschools.com/site/default.aspx?PageID=1 and/or at http://www.neola.com/streetsboro-oh/.
 

Character Education

 

The staff members at Wait Primary School are committed to teach our students the importance of the seven pillars of character education. The seven pillars of character education are: 1. respect, 2. responsibility, 3. self control, 4. compassion, 5. cooperation, 6. work ethic, and 7. honesty.

 

The pillar that we are working on in October  is “responsibility”. The theme of “responsibility” will be interwoven into classroom lessons this month. Next month the pillar will be “self-control”.
