About the Technology Department:
Technology is integrated into almost every facet of school district operations. Responsibilities of the Technology Department include
maintaining approximately 1,100 computers in classrooms and offices, as well as providing Internet access and storage servers.
Other duties include maintaining telephone, voicemail and fax lines and overseeing computerized building access, security systems and environmental controls. The Technology Department is also charged with maintaining all copiers and printers in the district. In addition, the Technology Department oversees student record retrieval, content and e-mail filtering, electronic grade books and attendance records, as well as assisting with the districts web page.
Steve Cain, Technology Coordinator, works closely with building principals and administrators to coordinate technology operations.

Computer technicians Richard Alleshouse and Archie Hess keep the computers running.
While Technology Integration/curriculum specialist Maureen Haska works with teachers to maximize the effectiveness of classroom technology.
