The SMS Walking Club meets during Intervention time for students who signed up to be in the club and are not called in for an intervention. Eighth graders walk on  Thursdays and seventh graders walk on Fridays. They get about a mile in each time. There are 103 students in the 8th grade walking club and 108 7th graders.
